ABOUT OUR CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

We are very proud of our Pathways Character Development Program and believe it is one of the critical elements of our organzation that makes us who we are. This is one of our most important programs and we take it very seriously. This is not an "everyone wins a prize" program and there may be some participants who do not win a reward.

Unfortunately, there are too many negative influences in society today that impact our youth. As your coaches, we want to have a positive influence on the youth of our community by teaching and helping demonstrate good character traits. Every player will be on our Character Development Program, which is based on Christian Biblical principles.

Each week, we will send a link to a short You Tube video about the character trait of the week. and we ask that you watch it with your player. At practice, we will talk to them about the character trait and ask questions about the video. At the end of the week, the player who best demonstrated the character trait of the week will receive a reward with a Scripture reference to the topic.
